 AFRICAN RESCUE VISION

ARV stands for Africa Rescue Vision 🌍

It is a national NGO and non-profit organization with a Christian vocation, created in January 2016. ARV is based in the eastern region of the Democratic Republic of the Congo and is currently established in North Kivu Province, with its headquarters in the city of Goma.

Africa Rescue Vision works to serve vulnerable communities, especially in regions affected by conflict and instability in Central Africa. Its mission is rooted in Christian values, focusing on compassion, protection, and sustainable development for those in need.

If you would like, I can also help you turn this into a polished website description or official organizational profile.

HISTORY

Africa Rescue Vision ( ARV/)..Was founded by group of small Christians ; followers of the 55th CEBCE ( Community of Baptist Churches of Congo- East)…represented by Medical Administrative Executive, who themselves were victims of the effects of successions of varieties of war: AFDL, RCD,CNDP, and M23( 1st, 2 nd, and 3 Rd)…. since the year 1997, before the genocide in Rwanda until Now and those insecurities continues until today in the two provinces.
The groups which have been affected by these different wars until Now are 2 provinces and territories over that provinces at the front of Burundi Country.
In 2014-2016, these executives of ARV/ Medical Administrative groups, interested in the rural exodus of the indigenous population, these executives with promoter of ARV, went to Mugunga and Kanyaruchinya in 2016,to visit the internally deplaced people of of 2 camps was have around 1.799,367 inhabitants. And there, they met, several Orphans, widowers, widoweds, single mothers with unwanted pregnancies, ( violence, raped)…. Physically and Mentally handicapped people; raped women, patients with different pathologies… ect….All coming from these aforementioned Territories.
Compassionated,by this state of vulnerability , of disastrous population, they immediately had the idea of starting to collect data; take photos of it and start writing statutes and internal regulations. This is how,the Christian Organization ” Africa Rescue Vision ( ARV) in acronym” was born.
Blessings!!!

WALLS CAN FALL. ROOFS CAN COLLAPSE

Bricks can scatter like startled birds. But the Church is never only stone and timber. It is breath and song and stubborn hope rising from the dust.

In places like the eastern regions near Goma, where conflict has scarred so many communities across the Democratic Republic of the Congo, gathering outdoors is not weakness. It is defiance. It is faith saying, “Even here, we will lift our voices.”

I will pray for you.

I pray for protection over your congregations.
I pray for provision to rebuild what has been broken.
I pray for strength for your leaders who must carry both grief and guidance.
I pray that the ground where you worship becomes holy ground, even without walls.

May the wind carry your songs farther than any cathedral ceiling ever could. May help come from unexpected places. And may your rebuilt churches stand one day not only as structures of cement, but as monuments to endurance.

You are not forgotten. Peace to you. 🙏

EASTERN DEMOCRATIC REOUBLIC OF THE CONGO CARRIES BEAUTY

in its hills and heartbreak in its history.

Years of conflict in provinces around Goma and across the eastern region of Democratic Republic of the Congo have left thousands of children without parents, protection, or predictable tomorrows. These orphaned and vulnerable children live in the long shadow of violence. Many face exploitation, trafficking, abuse, and chronic poverty. What they need is not only emergency relief, but steady hands, safe homes, classrooms filled with possibility, and communities strong enough to hold them. Our church, through its Development and Diakonia Department, has walked alongside these children for years. We are not new to this work. We have existing programs that support: • Access to education so children can return to school and rebuild their futures • Basic healthcare services to protect their physical well-being • Child protection initiatives that reduce risks of abuse, exploitation, and neglect • Community engagement efforts that reinforce local care systems Yet the scale of need continues to grow. The river is wide, and our boats are too few. We invite your organization to collaborate with us in expanding this life-sustaining work. Together, we can: • Provide food and clothing support to orphaned children • Deliver essential health and protection services to vulnerable children • Support school fees, supplies, and educational access • Strengthen the capacities of host families and communities so children are cared for in safe, nurturing environments This is more than assistance. It is restoration. It is rebuilding the circle around a child so no one stands alone. We welcome the opportunity to discuss partnership models, shared objectives, and coordinated implementation. With your support, we can widen the circle and reach many more children who are waiting for safety, dignity, and hope.
